Oh, and I made pancakes!

Erm, and there were pancakes too:

YUM!!!!!

Twittertastic baby!

Well then, now I'm getting over my intitial trepidation on Twitter, I'm finally getting the hang of it. After having joined in with a random tweet 'thing' from an Eddie Izzard namesake (heaven forbid I should suggest it isn't the real deal!) I've started randomly following people who amused me (and in many cases, they're only gone and started following me back!). It's making Twitter a more interesting place altogether. All: "It's making Twitter a more interesting place".

I do still follow the Frymeister, Schofe and others...but it kind of makes you realise that whilst these so-called celebs are interesting, there are loads of others out there with equally interesting things to say.

Come on over and join me... https://twitter.com/ (I know, my user name isn't especially imaginative, but hey, any port in a storm!)

And another one

A wedding card for Emma's sister - used cuttlebug wedding cake, and some Inspire Me paper for the damask looking background. Ivory background card is Stardream and some general burgundy ribbon and gold and burgundy cardstock.

Quick post from me today - here's 4oth card I made a couple of weeks ago for my sister to give to one of her work colleagues. For anybody that does read my blog, you might remember I made a similar one last september for a friend of mine. I liked it so much, that I did it again, something I rarely do.

a Jolly Nation image decoupaged and finished off with stickles glitter on the letters and bubbles, and some glaze to the legs of the bath, the taps and the wine glass. I still like it though.

What a week!

Well, I've had quite a busy and flustered week, so I've not been here again! Somebody will have to slap my wrists!

Not much to tell, not that I can put up here for personal reasons anyway, so I'll just show you a few pictures.

The first couple are of the snowmen in the back garden from a couple of weeks ago. Complete with skipping ropes for scarves, frisbees for hats, plastic golf clubs for arms and stones for eyes (and those are stone ears on the first one too - thanks to Sophie for that! LOL) - and the thin black pole you can see is the bird feeder stuck in the middle of the garden. I could probably Photoshop it out, if only I could be bothered!

The card is the one I've had dilemmas over - it's for my boss, Emma, as she's leaving at the end of this week. I'm hoping she doesn't read my blog, or at least not overnight, as she will get the card tomorrow at her 'fuddle'. I didn't have a clue what to do, and I did it late at night, so I can honestly say, my colouring skills aren't up to my usual standard. Coloured with Watercolour Pencils too, as I didn't want to spend time experimenting with the colours of my ProMarkers untilo I found the right combination.

May have a wedding card to show you tomorrow, assuming I actually finish it today! But for now, here's your lot!
